For assistance with navigating the visa process and travel planning, presented below are some commonly asked questions along with detailed responses.


1. Guest Travel Plan:

2. Check Your Tickets:

Secure your tickets ahead of time: Verify and reserve your tickets in advance, but refrain from issuing them until you have obtained your visa.


3. Prepare Your Documents:

Organize the required documents for your visa application.

4. Await Your Wedding Invitation Letter:

To receive the wedding invitation letter, kindly furnish us with your passport and flight information. You can provide this information on the RSVP page:

5. Visa Information:

  • Required Documents: Refer to the guidelines for obtaining the Schengen Visa.

  • Wedding Invitation Letter: The invitation letter will be issued upon receipt of our permit by the end of this month (June).

  • Visa Application: Process your visa application through BLS Spain Agency, the visa processing service representing the Spanish Consulate in Hanoi. Applications can be submitted in Ho Chi Minh City at: https://vietnam.blsspainvisa.com/

  • Processing Time: Approximately 1-2 weeks.

  • Travel Plans: If you are traveling to multiple countries, apply for a visa for the country where you will spend the most time.

  • Travel Insurance: Make sure you have travel insurance for your trip as it is a requirement for the visa application.


7. Accommodation: Asturias is known for its beautiful landscapes, but the countryside can be challenging to navigate without a car. We recommend staying in the city for the celebration days.

  • Book in Advance: Book your hotels in advance (with a cancellation option) to show the embassy for visa processing.

  • Hotel Recommendation: Aparthotel Campus (Booking.com)

    • Room Rate: €100 (approx. 2.7M VND) per night for up to 3 people (double bed + sofa bed)

  • Grand Casas de Indianos.

    • Room Rate: from €50 to €150 per night.


Or you can stay in charming rural hotels, farmhouses, villa.

8. Cash Flow:

  • Budget: Plan to have at least €150 per day to cover expenses in Europe, either in your bank account or as cash.

  • Currency Exchange: It’s not easy to change VND to Euros in Spain. We recommend exchanging money before you arrive.


9. Getting There: Fly to Asturias Airport or take the high-speed train from Madrid.

  • By Train: Visit Renfe for prices ranging from €20-75.


  • By Flight: Asturias Airport (OVD) has connections with low-cost airlines (Volotea or Vueling) from various European destinations.

    • The airport is 40 km from the city.

    • A shuttle bus runs every hour until 11 PM for less than €10.

    • A taxi costs around €60, but this is reasonable if shared among 2-4 people.
